Slater Springman joined TNRMT in mid-2021 as Assistant CFO, not long after completing his MBA at Freed-Hardeman University (FHU), where he met his future wife. After learning of the opportunity in the finance world at TNRMT, he felt it would be a great fit for him and his fiancé.
Slater’s passion for accounting began with his knack for problem-solving by finding logical solutions. He envisions accounting as a puzzle, every piece with a proper place, leading to the missing pieces. And when he applies his reasoning abilities, no matter how elusive the missing pieces are, Slater can finish the puzzle. And he loves solving problems, finding solutions, and finding those missing pieces that ensure a smoother path forward for all involved. Slater’s reasoning, logic, and attention to detail make him a great addition to the finance team at TNRMT.
Originally from Oklahoma, Slater is a lover of sports, especially all things football and baseball! He even received a scholarship to play collegiate-level baseball at Freed-Hardeman. A huge fan of the Sooners, he will make any and all reasonable efforts to watch them during football season. Slater also has a dog, Ellie, that is quite the handful. Want stories?
