Dr. Cathy Beck has been in education for the past 34 years. She’s worked in Alabama, Colorado and Tennessee. Currently she is in her 7th year as Director for Cheatham County. Cathy is the author of 2 professional books, is a national conference presenter, and has won National awards for both literacy as well as dual language instruction. She was chosen to represent Colorado on a trip to Finland to study their education system. She and her husband, Skip, have 6 children, 3 dogs and are avid UT fans!
