With great enthusiasm, the Tennessee Risk Management Trust (TNRMT) welcomes Dawn Robinson to her new role as Administrator of TNRMT beginning July 1, 2025.
Dawn brings a wealth of experience in education, governance, public service, and organizational leadership. A University of Tennessee graduate, she served on her local school board for 27 years, 15 of those as chairman. Her leadership extended statewide as President of the Tennessee School Boards Association. Her commitment to service and leadership has been recognized with the Hal Henard Distinguished Service Award, naming her Tennessee’s School Board Member of the Year.
Dawn is no stranger to TNRMT. She served on our Board of Trustees for 25 years, including 12 years as chairman, offering valuable insight and guidance to our mission.
A lifelong supporter of Scouting, Dawn has served on the staff of seven National Scout Jamborees and one World Scout Jamboree.
Dawn and her husband, Dr. Don Robinson, have been married for 53 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren. When she’s not leading or volunteering, she enjoys camping, hiking, biking, reading, and cheering on her beloved Tennessee Volunteers.
