Michael Wright grew up on a farm in Lebanon, Tennessee, where he learned the value of hard work and resourcefulness. Now living in Old Hickory, Michael works as a claims adjuster, finding purpose in solving problems and being useful to others.
His path into adjusting began unexpectedly. After moving to Florida as a burned-out chef seeking a change, Michael found himself taking a new direction when Hurricane Irma struck. He went to work in claims, beginning a career that put his practical mindset and problem-solving abilities to use. Learning to navigate dyslexia also helped him develop the resourcefulness he brings to life and work.
Michael’s faith in God guides his decisions and how he treats others, and church is an important part of his life. Outside of work, he enjoys lifting weights, reading, playing chess, and cooking—a talent he considers his greatest God-given gift.
Michael also brings a sense of humor to the table: he once won a staring contest with a fish. Whether in the kitchen, at work, or in everyday life, he enjoys putting his abilities to good use.
