After several years of distinguished leadership, Dr. Phillip Wallace announced to the TNRMT Board of Trustees his intent to retire as TNRMT’s Administrator, effective October 2021. As you know from our previous InTrust Newsletter, Dr. Tony Tucker now fills the role of Administrator.
Dr. Wallace has been an integral part of TNRMT for many years, well before he was named Administrator. With an unconditional dedication to TNRMT’s Members, staff, and Board, he led with wisdom, honesty, compassion, and integrity.
After his retirement, we’ll all remember him in different ways. Members will remember Dr. Wallace as a trusted and accountable resource, always just a phone call away. The staff will remember him for his charm, patience, and empathy (and maybe the snacks, too!). The Board will remember him as an indispensable asset at the helm of TNRMT, leading the member-owned trust through changing times over his years of service as Administrator. Everyone, however, will remember Dr. Wallace as a friend.
Dr. Wallace, we all appreciate your leadership over the last several years, and you will certainly be missed. Thank you for your service, and we all wish you and your family the very best moving forward.
