TNRMT Honors Alice Carnahan

October, 2020

On a bittersweet day in late August, Dr. Phillip Wallace, Trust Administrator, along with her co-workers and former co-workers, honored Alice Carnahan in her retirement after 26 years of truly dedicated service. Alice has been the backbone of TNRMT for many, many years and her absence will be felt for years to come.

Although Alice’s official duties included all things finance, her responsibilities encompassed so much more. Her rich skill set combined with her unwavering dedication made her perfect in her position. Alice essentially kept things running at TNRMT through the various changes during her tenure. She’s been called “the glue that holds the family together”, she’s been touted for her “ability to keep all of us in line”, she’s universally spoken of as “one of the most caring and conscientious people I know”, and she’s described as “THE go-to-person” for any issue, wisdom, or just advice, be it personal or professional.

I know I can speak for the entire TNRMT family and the entire NGU/SEC family when I say that all of us have enjoyed working with you each day. To say that you’ll be missed is an understatement. You leave a certain void that only you can fill. And while we’re sad that you’re leaving, we’re happy for you at the same time.

Happy Retirement, Alice Carnahan.
